My name is Heather and I’m lucky to have an eye for design and the skills to understand and articulate your needs and aesthetic through design.

Example of Home and Commercial Designs
Coastal & Cosy Open Plan
This coastal apartment was transformed to create a timeless space that builds appeal and interest through layered decor elements and a subtle coastal inspired palette. The final result is a cosy, calm and clean design to get away from the bustle of work and city life!
Narrow Family Living Room
The owners of this large, rectangular room found it cold and uninviting which meant the large space was used as an occasional play/tv room.
This 3D photoreal design shows that, within a tight budget & working around the black leather sofa, by adding discreet storage, soft furnishings, clever colour blocking, a cosier atmosphere and visual re-proportioning of the room is possible.
Open Plan Black & Plywood kitchen, living &Â dining room
This is part of a home remodel. The clients were looking for alternative layout ideas as well as inspiration for their room to work around a contemporary, industrial black cabinet design.
Designing for family life in this type of multi functional room has to address traffic flow and practicalities first. But its important it can also reflect the grown ups style and not become characterless for the heart of the home.

At House Therapy HQ, I design based on how each individual home is used and by whom. Initial conversations focus strongly on how people share and use their space. Then needs, wants and dreams are woven together to make each design unique to each homeowner.

Beach House - Commercial Guestrooms
This venue was completely reimagined to reflect the changes in the hospitality industry as a response to the Covid pandemic. The brave owners remodelled their Victorian Villa from a hostel type set up to family room accommodation with ensuite shower rooms in each room. The aim was to create a timeless space that builds appeal and interest through simple, layered decor elements. The final result exceeded the clients’ expectations and their customers' also.
Contemporary Cosy Broken plan Living, Dining, Kitchen
A young couple avoid the greys and choose a beige, neutral space with a little black for chic contrast and oodles of plush to keep it cosy for them and their gorgeous Dachshund!
Forest Inspired Family Kitchen
The owners of this space sought to replicate the calming atmosphere they all enjoy so much about being in the woods.
The use of a vibrant green and bold, forest mural in this kitchen is both fresh and calm when they are complemented by the natural ash full height units and subdued, practical soft furnishings palette.
Key to this scheme, as in most hard working kitchens is the effective use of storage and a good workflow. This allows for a generous table and banquette area alongside a flexible snug for when the extendable table is opened up and friends and family visit. This kitchen can cater and seat 12 people comfortably-without kids or dogs running through the cooking zone!
